1. What do you already know about who or what has been done to address your issue? What organizations or laws have you already heard of?
Sometimes police get involved, guidance counselours, lawyers, concerned parents even. I specifically know two organizations, which is the Day One organization, and the Healing Center which is a group for young woman that helps victims, and also teaches many young woman more about domestic violence. I have yet to hear any laws regarding domestic violence against teens.
2. What information are you missing from Paper Two? What do you want to find out?
I'm missing further organizations and laws that have been passed due to teen domestic violence.

Lab Research DAY 3: Paper One Evidence
What is the central idea of your Paper One?
Domestic Violence needs to be addressed to teenagers, more specifically in high school because many students don't know how to differentiate love and control. There are many teenagers who don't tell anyone because they think it's okay and normal. Some even believe an abuser is doing what he/she does out of love.
What is evidence? How much evidence is "enough" evidence to prove your central idea?
Evidence is a source that often includes statistics, examples, and further information that makes your paper sound more professional and proves your information correct.

Lab Research DAY 2
When I skim through a reading I normally look for things that are in bold, headlines, age groups, specifically the word teenagers and things like statistics, different races and true stories that possibly inspired others to open up and tell their family and/or friends about the relationship that they are/were in.

Lab Research DAY 1
1. What do you know about your issue already?
-Domestic Violence can occur to anyone at any age
- many believe that dating violence in high school is possibly increased as an issue in 10th grade
- girls who abuse inflict minor physical & emotional pain on partner
- girls tend to commit minor acts such as, scratching, slapping, and throwing objects
- boys who abuse have the capability to cause severe physical damage and sexual abuse
2. What do you want/need to know to write paper one?
I still need to find out the populations that are affected by domestic violence, and how it all started. I also want to find out what made the first couple of woman stand up for themselves.
3. Keywords for Search Engine
- teen domestic violence
- populations affected by domestic violence
- teenage girls not standing up in abusive relationship
4. Successes & Frustrations
Researching the history of domestic violence is much easier through search engines such as google and I found a lot of useful information. The database websites however, are a bit more harder to get the answers you're really looking for.

QOL ISSUE.
The Quality of Life issue I chose was Domestic Violence. I chose this because I know it's a very serious issue that may be hidden underneath today's society. This issue is measurable and solvable because there are places within communities to help women and men that are in an unhealthy relationship. It is solvable because we as a community could raise awareness on what domestic violence really is and let everyone know that it is not okay.
My concerns for this topic is that I won't be able to survey people who have been through domestic violence, because most people stay quiet in this subject. Besides this, I believe that I don't have any further concerns or fears for this topic and researching.

Solutions: The government can make the vacant lot into something that can help the community connect or gather to further help the neighborhood.
